Why do we need Electricians? Why are they so important?
It wasn’t until late in the 19th century that electricity became common in society. Since that time, the need for electricians to install, repair and maintain electricity for businesses, homeowners and cities has only grown.
Now having electricity is akin to having air to breathe; we only think about it when it’s not available. Nowadays electricity is the foundation of power in our society, and it is electricians who provide the structure and functionality of our power grids.
Electric lighting was initially the primary use of electrical power both commercially and domestically. Other large and small appliances were crafted to run on electricity, as the energy source proved to be very flexible and ideal for nearly any power requirements. Out of this, the professional electrician was born. The vast electrical infrastructure that keeps society functioning is now reliant on highly trained electricians to maintain.
